Advising

SCS students have an academic adviser to help them throughout their studies at Tulane. Advisers see students by appointment, and most allow walk-in consultations during busy times. Students should see their adviser before registering for the first time, then should consult their adviser on academic matters throughout the semester. Advisers also evaluate transfer credits and certify students for graduation.

Part-time students pursuing degrees in the liberal arts and sciences, humanities, or social sciences at the Uptown Campus are advised by Natalie Seither (504) 865-5555. Part-time students pursuing degrees in the liberal arts and sciences, humanities, or social sciences at the Elmwood campus should call (504) 865-5333 to make an appointment with our adviser, Kim Black. Students at our Mississippi Campus in Biloxi are advised by Lisa Hammons (228) 388-5769
